Greetings Panther Family,

My name is Principal Tony Miller. It is with great pleasure that I join this district founded in tradition and excellence. I am new to the district as Secondary Principal for the 22-23SY. I come to this role with 10 years of teaching experience in general and special education classrooms. Most recently, I have served as a building administrator for seven years with SWWC in Belview, MN. My wife, three children and I presently live in Redwood Falls, MN. My family and I enjoy traveling to sporting events and activities as we seem to be busy each season. We also enjoy spending time visiting family throughout Iowa and the Midwest.

Tracy Area High School has a strong tradition of high expectations and clear outcomes. Education opens doors! I believe that all students should have equity in access to high quality teachers and teaching. Adults on this campus will build relationships with students, model responsibility, respect one another and help students grow. Students will become better communicators that can be both disciplined and creative at the same time.

Our teachers will teach with enthusiasm and will connect with students. Faculty at Tracy Area High School will demonstrate mastery of subject matter and show strong teacher craft knowledge. Technology is abundant and will be used in practical ways to reach all kids. Well-designed curriculum combined with great teachers and support staff means all students will progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

Not only will students at Tracy Area Public Schools strive for mastery in subjects studied, but learners will synthesize what they have learned to address challenges they might face in the future. Students should be able to make connections to the world outside the school to ensure future success. Students will develop interpersonally. With persistence and determination, our students can become genuinely college and career ready.

The Board of Education and the community show this commitment through the top shelf facilities and wide program offerings.
