
Good Luck to Jada Schmidt at the State Speech Tournament on Friday at Shakopee High School


Kids had a very “hoppy” time making chocolate bird nests, bunny bait, krispy flowers, chocolate butterflies, and dirt cups with FCCLA members on Thursday, April 17. This was an after school program through Com Ed.



Congratulations to Jada Schmidt for placing 2nd in Extemporaneous Reading at the Section 3A Speech Competition today! The top 2 in each category move on to the State Competition. Jada will compete at State Speech in Shakopee April 25-26th.



Congratulations to the 5th and 6th grade band students selected to participate in SWMBDA’s Elementary Honor Band! They had a great day making music with students from 16 different area schools and put on an awesome concert this afternoon at Lakeview HS.



FCCLA Members attended State Conference this weekend in Bloomington with over 600 members from across the state. A lot of fun was had, and many achievements earned. Members attended workshops, competed in Star Events, heard from great speakers, ate a lot of great food, and grew closer as a chapter.
National Advancers:
Sophia Harsh- Placing second overall in Professional Presentation. She earned a gold ranking after having a callback and presenting twice. This is an incredible achievement as a 9th grader and she received high praise from the judges after finding out her rank.
Kaylie Johnson and Karson Schneider- Second place in Fashion Design with their design of baby clothing. This earned them a bronze rank.

Brooklynn Gilbery led the chapter as a 10th grader competing in Interior Design. She networked with other chapters and learned new recruitment ideas.
Alex Moua, Marcus Vue, and Owen Beier were new to the chapter this year and competed in the Entrepreneurship Star Event with their business plan on a restaurant.

Congrats to Trevor Smith the Class A Triple A Award winner. Trevor receives a $4,000 scholarship from the MSHSL. Panther Pride!




TMB Activities received a check today for $688 from the Power Ade for schools program sponsored by Viking Coke
