Q. What is the earliest I can drop my child off at school?
A. Students may be dropped off after 7:45 am, but must enter through door number 1.
Q. What should I do if my child is ill before school?
A. Please call our school office to report the illness / absence before 9:00 am.
Q. If my child needs to be picked up, or take a different bus home in the afternoon, what should I do?
A. Anytime your child's afternoon routine is different than usual you will need to contact the school office by 2:00 pm. This will ensure that your child gets to the correct bus or gets the information in time!
Q. How can I help my child prepare for the MCAII tests this spring?
A. If your child is in 4th, 5th or 6th grade and has taken the MCAII test in the past you may access the Pearson Perspective website. You'll need your child's individual learning locator number that is printed on the MCAII test results page the school sent out this fall. Enter this number on the Perspective website for loads of individualized resources! (The Perspective website is listed on our district's links section.)
Q. What is the deal with the planners that my child brings home?
A. The planners are a critical tool used to communicate with families and also help teach students organizational skills. It is very important that you check your child's planner each day and sign it before returning it to school.
