Music and slate will broadcast on the above feeds well before live broadcast in preparation for Spanish and Hmong feeds (usual process English).  TPT NOW Presenter, Mr. Leo Espinoza (Spanish) or Ms. Pa Lee (Hmong) will start the live broadcast feed and begin real-time Spanish or Hmong languages when the Governor’s address begins. Once complete, Mr. Espinoza & Ms. Lee from their respective studio’s will close out the broadcast simulcast briefly giving stations time to re-join regular, local, programming. Please be advised the Governor’s address might last less than 30 minutes so carriers should be prepared to “fill time” or address “technical difficulties” should they arise.

My thanks to community-media for making today’s Spanish/Hmong (potentially Somali) broadcasts possible. Since 2004, TPT has been producing multi-lingual and multi-platform health, safety and emergency information. In 2017, a dedicated a 24/7 broadcast on channel 2.5 (OTA) called TPT NOW (tpt.org/post/introducing-tpt-now/). For info, please contact Lillian McDonald (LMcDonald@tpt.org).

Thank you for helping us provide COVID-19 information to our cultural communities.  Lillian
