Friday November 20 and Early Dismissal Information

Dear Parents and students at Tracy Area Public Schools,

There will be no school for students this Friday, November 20, 2020.  This day will be used as a work day for staff to accommodate the large number of students who are currently under quarantine due to COVID 19 related reasons.   Students will not have school Friday, but teachers may be contacting you or your child to ensure students are making satisfactory progress if your child is on quarantine.  School will resume as normal on Monday, November 23.

Starting Monday, November 30 school will dismiss 30 minutes earlier daily in order to meet the Governor’s requirement under executive order 20-94 to provide extra preparation time for teachers due to the large amount of students learning from home due to quarantine.   The eighth grade will be dismissed at the VMC at 2:10 p.m., Saint Mary’s will be dismissed at 2:10, the high school will be dismissed at 2:20, and Tracy Elementary will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m.

More specific information will be coming from the building principals.
